Design Entrepreneur Nkuli Mlangeni Explains How Her Products Provide Sentimental Value To Her Customers. When entrepreneurs create a product, they hope that the product resonates and adds value to its clients. This is because they are trying to create something that will have longevity and be appreciated by its clients. In an interview with The Insider SA, Design Entrepreneur Nkuli Mlangeni explained how her products provide sentimental value to her customers.

She said, “Currently everything is custom made, usually I’d communicate with my clients, what colours they want and then we work on the colours, then I’d make the designs with the colours they want and send it to them and they send it back to me and once they’re happy the. We can proceed with the order and throughout all of this I try to also share with my clients the process, I’d send them pictures and I’d communicate how far it is.”

She continued to say, “But it is also a challenge for a lot of people because there are just used to go to the shop and but something and get it immediately but when you order a rug it’s a long process but I think if you are a conscious consumer and you understand the nature of slow design, usually clients don’t mind and usually when they get it its much more meaningful and special to them.” Mlangeni and her design company makes its clients feel important as they work closely with them to create a product that they truly want. The clients will appreciate the product even more as they were involved in the process s of making it.

This is good customer service as customers will feel valued and will feel like there are getting their money’s worth of service and product, this way they will be keen to come back and support the company again.
