South African entrepreneur and founder of Siwela Wines, Siwela Masoga took to Twitter to reveal what keeps her going and motivated even through hardships. She revealed that it is the support that her customers have shown her throughout her journey that has allowed her to always remain determined.
The post read, “Ahh man! Modimo ga a lahle ngwana wa gage! I went into this wine business thing with nothing, dropped a good paying dream job for many to build a name for my self in the industry. I see the hardships & all, one thing that got me going is the support.”
Venturing into entrepreneurship can be a very difficult journey that requires one to be determined, consistent and persistent. These traits can allow an entrepreneur to overcome any challenge that they may face in their business as they will be able to see the bigger picture and not only focus on the problem they are facing. In order for an entrepreneur to be motivated and inspired, they need to have a strong support system that will show them that no matter what challenges they may face, people will still be willing to offer support, whether it is in terms of money or motivation.
Masoga reveals that she quit her job in order to fully focus on her wine business and if it wasn’t for the support she has received, she could have been another statistic of an unsuccessful entrepreneur.
