Telkom Removes The South African Post Office As A Payments Channel

Telkom Removes The South African Post Office As A Payments Channel. Telkom has announced that account payment options for their customers will no longer include the South African Post Office. This change aims to streamline the payment process for their customers.

“At Telkom, we remain committed to offering our customers simple and convenient options to settle their accounts. We encourage our customers to explore alternative payment channels, such as direct EFT payments through their banks. They can also contact our customer service call centre at 10210 and sign up for a debit order, a hassle-free method to ensure seamless settlement of monthly accounts,” shared Albertus Venter, Managing Executive: Consumer Operations at Telkom.

Telkom is committed to giving its customers seamless connectivity for a better life. Telkom offers crystal clear voice, superfast broadband and robust IT solutions, over both fixed and mobile networks. This makes the company truely differentiated as the converged operator in South Africa. Telkom has been the foundation of South African communications for more than 140 years, and it has built a footprint of copper, fibre and wireless technologies in the country. Telkom’s managed data solutions are used by most of the large, corporate and global companies in Southern Africa.

The South African Post Office is a company that facilitates communication and delivery of services by linking government, business and customers with each other across the world by leveraging its broad reach, employees, technology and innovation.

Telkom understands that this change may be unexpected and inconvenient for some customers who are utilising the South African Post Office as a payment channel. However, through its multiple payment collection options, it aims to continue to offer its valued customers the most optimal payment options available.
