Founder Of Girl Code SA Zandile Mkwanazi Shares Which Businesses She Thinks Are The Easiest To Build And Scale. South African entrepreneur and founder of Girl Code SA Zandile Mkwanazi took to Twitter to share which businesses she thinks are the easiest to build and scale. Mkwanazi believes that there are a lot of opportunities for entrepreneurs in the e-commerce and service industries, due to the mass adoption of digital technology.

The post read, “If you looking to build your first business in 2022, the “easiest” types of business to build and scale quickly are ecommerce and service. Think about traditional businesses and how technology can disrupt them. i.e taking local companies online, marketplaces etc.” Mkwanazi emphasises how technology is disrupting how a lot of businesses used to operate. When entrepreneurs can spot this they can also identify business operations that can be disrupted by technology and therefore come up with innovative solutions that will make those business operations seamless.

She continued to say, “A business doesn’t need to be sexy, it just needs to solve a problem and make money. Here’s some problems that need long term solutions: people want more things to be delivered at home, more kids need home school and empty office spaces as more people work from home.” Mkwanazi wants entrepreneurs to take full advantage of the digital era, so that they can also participate and contribute to how this technology can improve the entrepreneurship landscape in the country.

There are a lot of entrepreneurs that have identified how they can use digital technology to their advantage, hence there has been more digital businesses that have been established over the past few years such as in the Fintech industry. Mkwanazi wants entrepreneurs to focus on the important aspects of the business and not worry about the other things they cannot control, hence she highlights that a business just needs to solve a problem and make money.
