SAB Announces Partnership With GIBS To Drive Knowledge And Innovation. The South African Breweries (SAB) and the University of Pretoria’s Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) have forged a partnership that will among other things see employees gain skills critical to the advancement of their careers. This partnership has been brokered through the GIBS Centre for African Management and Markets (CAMM).
At an SAB-GIBS event to announce this partnership, SAB Vice President of People Bridget Makhura underscored the importance of continuous learning and growth to career progression. A GIBS Alumni herself, Ms. Makhura expressed her excitement about the possibilities of this partnership— “the Gordon Institute of Business Science has won several awards over the years and is among the Top 50 business schools globally, making them an obvious choice of partner for us.”
Professor Adrian Saville, founding director of CAMM also expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership— “we are excited to begin our journey with SAB through this partnership.
