Culture Scouts presented by Hypebeast Africa in partnership with Samsung is a new exciting and ground-breaking opportunity for young African creatives to give us a street-level window into Hypebeast culture in Africa using the technologically innovative Samsung Galaxy devices.

This campaign harnesses Samsung’s mission to connect cutting-edge creativity with a global audience and gives winners the chance to craft original content that debuts exclusively on Hypebeast Africa, propelling impactful storytelling in their local communities. The nationwide call-out for South Africa’s creatives to enter went out on the Hypebeast Africa Instagram page garnering over 1000 entries.

The team has narrowed the selection and it is proud to introduce the official Culture Scouts class of 2023, which are, Nondumiso Shange, Day Marumo, Mikhailia Peterson and Mr Hlatswayo.
