Joma Announced As The Official Technical Sponsor Of The Durban International Marathon. Joma is proud to be alongside the Durban International Marathon, technical sponsor of the event. Joma will support the marathon of the South African city by providing the official shoe for the competition. With it, participants will run through the streets next 28th April 2024 during the 42.2 km that are part of the route.

The R.2000 sneakers are prepared to withstand a pace required for long and medium distance competitions. The upper is made of breathable custom nylon with small VTS perforations, improving sweat ventilation. The company added JOMA SPORTECH thermosealed TPU in the lacing area in order to provide firmness, support, and fit to the upper.
As for the midsole, it has been constructed with full dual pulsor technology. They feature fly reactive in the rear part, a super lightweight and flexible foam that offers excellent propulsion. The 10 mm drop favors this responsiveness. Featuring higher density phylon in the front part in order to absorb impacts. Finally, the outsole is made of durability rubber with very good resistance to abrasion on asphalt, extending its wear-and-tear.
