Being passionate about education, growing food and well-being, led owner and author Tanya Van Rees, to create South Africa’s first educational and plantable children’s storybook, design a food and education garden programme and qualify as a nutritionist advisor.

The children’s storybook collection ranges from plantable storybooks to storybooks with seed packs. They are educational and teaches children how to grow food from seed. The storybooks are filled with fun interactive activities, are handmade using recycled paper, and have non-GMO lettuce and tomato seeds embedded in the front and back covers. The company’s bespoke gift range is eco & animal-friendly ranging from stylish journals to toiletry bags – all created using new-age pineapple leather, tote bags made from recycled plastic PET bottles, and earth-friendly cotton totes and eye pillows.
