How The Kitchen Fairy Seeks To Make Events More Memorable

How The Kitchen Fairy Seeks To Make Events More Memorable. The Kitchen Fairy is a catering company. The company’s service includes catering for bespoke events in the Johannesburg and Gauteng area. Additionally it provides unique cooking and catering lessons, along with the training of staff to handle catering events.

The company consists of a team of highly qualified hospitality and catering professionals, decidedly committed to creativity and innovation. Delivering exceptional food and impeccable service with a fine eye for detail, arguably making it a market leader in this field… ensuring its customers’ event to be a memoir of note.

The company appreciates the importance of relationships. The company goes on the journey with its clients by developing the brief, evolving the concept to create bespoke menus that suit the occasion, together with accompaniments of the event. Of course, seasonality of its menus is of paramount importance: using only fresh, top quality ingredients and where possible it sources some from local artisan producers.

The Kitchen Fairy is owned and personally overseen by Debbie Earle. Having trained at Christina Martin School of Food and Wine (in Durban KZN), she thereafter managed Cleopatra Mountain Farmhouse, a boutique hotel in the Kamberg, Drakensberg. Fourteen months later she returned to Christina Martin School of Food and Wine, to follow a dream of lecturing aspiring chefs for the next three years, many of whom are today held in the highest esteem.

Prior to all this Debbie grounded herself in personnel: managing and placing them, believing that in order to appreciate food, it firstly is necessary to appreciate people. In 2007, she relocated to appreciate Johannesburg, joining an award winning catering establishment, eventually becoming their head of kitchen. So with these years of food and hospitality experience, she founded the Kitchen Fairy, successfully venturing on her own.
