Metropolitan Collective Shapers Opens Applications For Young KZN Agripreneurs

Metropolitan Collective Shapers Opens Applications For Young KZN Agripreneurs. Metropolitan Collective Shapers has announced the launch of its entrepreneur programme in KwaZulu-Natal and is calling for applications.

Metropolitan Collective Shapers are a group of entrepreneurs who share a common purpose, to make an impact in their communities and the broader public. Through this social impact platform, they offer the Shapers accredited sector-specific modular programmes, networking and market access opportunities, plus a small cash injection into their business to support growth and long-term sustainability.

As part of its continued drive to walk the journey to financial freedom with all South Africans, the company is committed to being part of the country’s success story and the Metropolitan Collective Shapers programme is its way of bringing this philosophy to life. The data around youth unemployment is a reality, that’s why the company believes that activating the collective potential of the youth is investing in the future. It believes that when it supports young people to become tomorrow’s employers, the whole community is uplifted. Metropolitan Collective Shapers is a social impact platform that seeks to drive real change across South Africa – one village, town, or city at a time.

When the company launched the Metropolitan Collective Shapers programme in 2021, it kicked off in Polokwane and helped young entrepreneurs take their passion for farming to new heights. By combining technical learning, mentorship, and business skills development with ongoing mentoring and market access capacitation, this social impact platform helped 8 young people who were already active in agriculture or farming to gain access and information.

Applications are open until June 30, 2024. To apply entrepreneurs can visit https://www.valueed.co.za/metropolitan-collective-shapers-application
