When Boity Thulo first burst into the entertainment scene, not many media specialists could have predicted the current tide in which her career has formed.
One is reminded of Boity’s first gig as a guest presenter on Soweto TV’s music countdown show. Soon after, she landed a leading lady gig in Martin’s music video. Years later, there was just no way of denying Boity’s star power in the industry. By now, she had successfully managed to spread her many talents across various mediums within the realm of the entertainment industry.
The year 2018 saw the unveiling of an interesting creative outlet in Boity – a rapper. With only three singles out, the 30 year old has slayed the hip hop space and has a nice plaque to show for it!. Many keep dogging her rap career move but home-girl is sitting pretty and her Benjamins keep rolling in!
Surprisingly, not much is known about the Own Your Throne hit-maker. Popular celebrity commentator, Phil Mphela went as far as describing Boity’s career as mystical. But we couldn’t resist, nicely zooming into the business moves that Boity has mastered over the years.
Recently, Boity Thulo launched her first fragrance called, Sapphire Pink. This is another business move that continues to set her apart from fellow counterparts in the entertainment industry. Although Boity has previously partnered with cosmetic brand, Impulse for their #OwnYourThrown body spray range, her recent solo fragrance is still a gigantic move.
Then came the birth of her television reality show on BET called, Boity: Own Your Throne. The show was an expansion of her Instagram content. The audience saw her go about making money moves behind the scenes from all over the world. The invitations to many events proved just how influential and relevant her brand truly is! Here’s to Boity!
