Drip Founder, Lekau Sehoana Responds To Allegations That His Drip Sneaker Is Designed & Produced In China
Drip Founder, Lekau Sehoana Responds To Allegations That His Drip Sneaker Is Designed & Produced In China something he strongly refuted. This was after he has posted about the new expansion in his lucrative business has grown exponentially during Covid which initially rented a small space in Midrand to a bigger warehouse in the same area.
The entrepreneur’s shoe making business has been booming over the past few months and not only do they now have 6 branches but they also have 4 delivery cars and 41 employees. Speaking on this, Drip founder Lekau Sehoana said “January 2020, @DRIPFootWear was ran in my bedroom. February i rented a warehouse that was as big as an RDP Bedroom. No car, no employee, just me and my loyal customers. 8 months later we are here, 44 employees, 4 delivery cars, 6 retail stores. Guys, THANK YOU.#TheTownshipDream“ but as expected not everyone shared the same enthusiasm. A tweep reacted to it by posting an image of similar sneaker designs from China with a caption that read “Who’s who and who’s not who here?”
Lekau Sehoana responded to this by saying “We have overly explained this, not going to even begin to entertain this anymore cause it just breaks my heart. But i have done everything in my power to design, develop my shoes from scratch. Your content, damages my brand.”
