Trigger’s On Demand App Aims To Keep Its Clients Safe At All Times

Trigger’s On Demand App Aims To Keep Its Clients Safe At All Times. Trigger is a smart on-demand App that makes it easy for subscribers to quickly access a network of private emergency services – when they need them – from the push of a button. It uses smart technology to autonomously connect its clients to help. Similar to how eHailing services work, Trigger equips each armed response vehicle in its network of over 220 independent private security suppliers and thousands of responders, with a Trigger responder device. When the subscriber pushes the button, help is autonomously dispatched to the location from which the call for help originated. The company also uses the human touch too – a team of operators is on call 24/7 to help clients. In short, Trigger has partnered with best of breed service providers and put them all together on one platform.

Trigger was born out of the critical need to help people in South Africa live, work and play in safety and with peace of mind. It does this by providing a smart, easy to use, all-in-one platform that can help people access a network of accredited emergency services and providers – when they need them. Trigger uses smart, disruptive and scalable technology that is also enabling better efficiencies across the security and emergency services sectors. This has created an optimally beneficial environment for all concerned: the subscriber, who receives affordable and effective services; the security provider who is able to increase revenue and its client base; and Trigger, as it fulfils its mission. Trigger is driven by an entrepreneurially minded founding team with extensive experience of the security and technology sectors.

To make effective safety, security and emergency services more accessible and affordable in SA, by creating and deploying smart, scalable and disruptive technology. Trigger can be activated via the app, which is downloaded on the client’s phone as well as through a standalone panic button to summon armed response and other emergency services.

It currently has armed response available in all major metropolitan areas and a number of large towns in South Africa. If clients require armed response assistance outside of Trigger’s current coverage area, the company will still be able to request police and law enforcement and direct them to the clients’ location.
