Some of the skills that the academy instils in those who enrol, include public speaking, TV presenting, social media coaching, grooming and art.

Nonhle Thema Productions

Nonhle established her own production company, Nonhle Thema Productions, which was responsible for her first reality TV show, “Nonhle Goes To Hollywood”, alongside Bounce Back Media and VuzuTV, which went on to become Vuzu’s second highest rated show at the time. “I starred in a show called Nonhle goes to Hollywood in 2010. It was a show that we had been speaking for a year we decided to do it in 2010. I was so proud of that particular job, because now I see all these reality shows on TV and I can proudly say that I was one of the first people to have a reality show. My work makes me a pioneer and encouraged people to not be afraid produce their own.” Thema told Zalebs.

Precious Ivy

Thema has also established her own fragrance which is called Precious Ivy. “The reason why I chose the name Precious Ivy is because my second name is precious and Ivy is my late grandmother’s name [ the mother of my mother,] after whom I have also named my daughter. I secured endorsements  and eventually got to the point where I felt its time I did something  on my own with my name on it. I felt that it would be really cool to make a fragrance as it’s something I’ve always wanted to do.” Thema told Zalebs.
