Drip Footwear Founder Lekau Sehoana And YFM Postpone The Put On Campaign For Entrepreneurs. South African entrepreneur and founder of Drip Footwear announced in a Facebook post that he had partnered with YFM to launch a campaign that is aimed at giving entrepreneurs to win various prices for their businesses.
The post read, “I have partnered with YFM on a campaign. 20 entrepreneurs will pitch their businesses to us and stand a chance to win R1.5 Million worth of Radio airtime, top 4 companies will R250k in radio exposure and R25k in cash. A further 5 companies will receive R100K in Radio exposure each. The campaign will be lead by YFM’s on-air and digital teams who will be disseminating all information to the public from start to finish. I always say your business is an extension of your personality. If you are in business, take care of your social media pages, they’ll take care of you in the future. stay positive.”
Due to the current situation of protests and looting in the country, YFM decided to postpone the campaign until they secure a suitable date. Drip Footwear founder Lekau Sehoana took to Facebook to announce the postponement, the post read, “The Domino effect begins. An email from YFM to postpone ‘The Put On’, an initiative by YFM to uplift entrepreneurs, which I happen to be a judge on. Stay safe and keep going. Let’s use these hard times to reflect and rebuild. An adaptive behavior will keep us going.”
YFM (99.2 FM) is a “Youth” radio station in Johannesburg, South Africa. Established in 1997, the station is formatted to mostly play urban music genres such as Kwaito, Hip Hop, and R&B along with a minority of its airtime being dedicated to talk shows.
