Sho Madjozi Releases New Traditional Kid’s Wear Ahead Of Heritage Day
Sho Madjozi Releases New Traditional Kid’s Wear Ahead Of Heritage Day. South African singer Sho Madjozi took to Twitter to announce the release of her new traditional kid’s wear. She says she is releasing this collection because of the Heritage Day holiday that is coming up on the 24th of September.
The post read, “It’s finally here!!!Tag a parent and tell them they can now order #miniHeritage day outfits in Pedi, Tsonga and Venda for their kids on https://t.co/AOsFYZ8Jvc!!!(Orders close soon to make it in time for heritage day so order quickly!!) your kids deserve it.”
This mini heritage project gives children an opportunity to celebrate their wonderful cultures while also supporting the women who make traditional attire. Kids are free to explore any culture they like and all the proceeds will go directly to the women makers. As it grows the brand hopes to include more ethnic groups and styles.
Sho Madjozi is known for embracing her culture with the type of music she makes as well as the clothes she wears. The singer took a conscious decision to include and make the influence of her Tsonga culture work in her favour through music and the clothes she wears. The singer does not shy away at the chance of showing her fans all around the world the different designs of traditional clothes that her culture has. With Madjozi’s brand being closely associated with traditional wear already, this will make it easier for her to market the clothes as people already know that she likes to celebrate her culture.
With Heritage Day coming up in South Africa, Madjozi has managed to launch her business at the right time because of the high demand that the traditional clothes are having due to the holiday. This will also be helping kids to learn and be proud of their culture as well the different cultures that can be found in South Africa.
