Adv Thulelo Makola is the director and founder of Thuverley (Pty) Ltd. She holds a master’s degree in law. Thulelo has always been an entrepreneur, from an early young age, when she started a tuckshop delivery services business in primary. Thulelo started Thuverley in response to current needs of the society. She always finds gaps in the market and finds ways to solve people’s problems through any of the products that she sells. Thulelo is passionate about law, entrepreneurship, and women financial empowerment. It is through Thuverley that she has been able to assist women to be financially empowered by including the ‘business in a box’ as a small starter business for anyone who wants to sell Thuverley products in their respective areas. To date Thuverley has 35 distributors across South Africa.

Chebe is made from a plant called Croton Zambezicus (Lavender Croton) some of the ingredients include Mahlaba seed, Messic resin and Clove. This plant can be found in most parts of Africa including Ghana, Nigeria and Burkini Faso.
The plant can also be used for medicinal purposes; it is used as treatment for people who suffer from diabetes. The plant is roasted, pounded and sieved to obtain the Chebe powder. Chebe is made from natural ingredients and contains no toxins, which is an alternative compared to the company’s competitors that offer synthetic products.
