Womvest Announces The Launch Of Its Sister Investment Firm Called Womvest Ventures. Womvest has announced the launch of its sister invest net firm, Womvest Ventures which is dedicated to assisting female entrepreneurs with much needed funds for their businesses.

Womvest Ventures will provide purpose-driven and flexible finance for women-owned and led businesses in South Africa. Its debut facility, the Womvest Ventures Impact-Linked Loan Facility, has been launched in partnership with Secha Capital and seeded by a group of phenomenal women in the Womvest network. The company is incredibly excited to enhance its support for ambitious and driven women and to the future partnerships that lie ahead.

Womvest convenes an open and supportive network of women professionals, investors and entrepreneurs to create value for one another through connections, collaborations and mentorships. The company believes that at a time when the world needs women change makers, women remain underrepresented in the investment ecosystem and underinvested in as entrepreneurs. Womvest is a platform for ambitious women to connect, collaborate and share experiences. Womvest seeks to encourage the next generation of women to invest in themselves and in one another.

Secha Capital, founded by Brendan Mullen and Rushil Vallabh, is a patient capital impact holding company which provides investment and human capital support to established South African SMEs in the FMCG and agribusiness space. Secha invests in South African SMEs at a growth inflection point and then take operational roles for nine months in order to install a scalable strategy and embed a comprehensive set of management capabilities to accelerate growth and reach full potential.

This new firm will focus on assisting female led small businesses as this empowers females to grow their business even further and create more opportunities in their communities.
