How Lalaland Luxury Seeks To Create An Environment That Provides A Luxurious Sleeping Experience. Lalaland Luxury was founded by Lala Tuku in 2020, over time she has developed a relationship with restlessness and trouble sleeping. In 2018, her health suddenly started deteriorating under strain from high levels of stress which she believes contributed to her insomnia, this led to her establishing the brand so that she could rest peacefully after a tiring day.
She suffered terrible headaches and her blood pressure was uncontrollable. It took a physical, mental and emotional toll on her wellbeing. Strangely enough, she could still function, her body did not have the capacity to know once she had reached a level of fatigue. She was always ahead of her body and mind, which led to her overworking herself. Tuku said on the company’s website, “I just kept going and I was putting my health at risk. The notion of rest was foreign to me. Until one day everything reached a screeching halt and emotionally, physically and psychologically I was done. I was forced to SLOW DOWN and introduce REST into my schedule and life. I realized the importance of sleep, the importance of recharging, the importance of taking it easy. That not only is it the act of shutting eye, but the mental and psychological being one has to draw to enjoy sleep. I started to introduce pockets of self-love moments. I embedded self-care into my vocabulary.”
She began to live intentionally by meditating and researching the benefits of REST. The importance of restoring and healing her body through sleep. From focusing on deep breathing routines, self-awareness and creating an environment that fosters a peaceful sleep experience. From sleepwear, linen, room fragrance and a bed that supports deep quite rest. She slowly started to learn how to fall in love with rest. Thus, she became inspired to create a premium rest experience for herself. Something that she could in her journey of self-love, self-healing, self-restoration, to offer herself in return.
Tuku is also the Director and Owner of Corporate Icons Entertainment Consultants offering Project Management services , Stakeholder Relations Management and Turnkey Solutions to clients. Corporate Icons specializes in Production and Conceptual services to Television Companies, Film productions and Awards Ceremonies. Clients range from Government Departments and Private Sector and International Clients. Tuku is also a professional elocutionist trainer, Director, Producer and Actress.
