Courvoisier Welcomes Us To Their Maison
, Courvoisier hosted its first Salon De La Maison for 2023 at Gallery Momo-Outskirts, a country-based private art gallery in the Cradle of Humankind. The event coincides with the brand’s new billboard campaign “Welcome to Our Maison”, featuring its iconic influencers. The campaign welcomes consumers to join them in the brand’s house style, which has been described as Cognac in Blossom.
The dress code for the event called for natural colours and earth tones and the beautiful people did not disappoint. Contrasting with the strong red colour of Courvoisier and in the magnificent dark of the night, the A-Listers shone like stars.
What began as a bumpy dirt road en route to the venue turned into a luxurious intimate experience, supported by soothing sounds by celebrity DJ Khenzero and live saxophone. Mixologist George Hunter was on hand to demonstrate the art of the perfect cocktail as guests learned to mix their own.
Surrounded by views of the countryside on a cool autumn evening, guests were warmed by glowing fire pits whilst enjoying an assortment of delectable food from a harvest table and sipping on Courvoisier cocktails. The joie de vivre was palpable in the lively chatter, the laughter and the moments piqued by the splendour of the evening.
Among the celebrities and influencers were the likes of Melody Molale and Tristan Du Plessis, who have a long-standing relationship as the Brand’s influencers. And newbies to the Cognac club, fashion stylist and Creative Director Obakeng Rantlhane, and performance and visual artist Kgotlelelo Bradley Sekiti aka K.Skits.
The room swelled with Joburg’s who’s who, including Comedian Loyiso Gala, radio personality Melanie Bala, socialite K Naomi, celebrity stylist Phupho Gumede, actress Rosemary Zimu and musician Langa Mavuso.
Stella Bischoff, Head of Marketing at Beam Suntory South Africa said, “Courvoisier’s soul is the joy of living – joie de vivre – and this was evident at Salon De La Maison where we welcomed guests ‘into our Maison’. Guests were immersed in the world of Courvoisier – savouring delicious cocktails, mingling with likeminded individuals, relaxing in lounge pods, all the while surrounded by natural beauty.”
