Entrepreneur Zandi Manyaku Seeks To Build A Franchise With Her Hush In My Kitchen Business. Hush In My Kitchen was founded in May 2020 during the hard lockdown and it has grown in leaps and bounds in a short period of time with an exponentially growing number of followers on social media networks. With the intention of making cooking easier, the company started off by making an assortment of scrumptious meals and recipes for the ordinary person to try at home.

Hush In My Kitchen was founded by Zandi Manyaku, a qualified Chartered Accountant with a passion and talent for cooking. She was born and bred in East London but currently residing in Cape Town. With her commendable analytical and entrepreneurial skills, she’s always eager to take on challenges that many shy away from. She has always been passionate about cooking from a young age and the first dish she learnt how to cook was “umphokoqo” (African salad), which is still a favorite to date!

In a very short space of time, Hush In My Kitchen started catering for private and corporate events as well collaborating with big and well-known brands to create content and develop recipes which it successfully executed. Currently, the company provides services in Cape Town and East London and are open to travel nationwide for big events.

The company’s services include private and corporate catering, content creation, cooking classes and demos. It also does new product launches, master class activations (in-store or venue based) product-testing, food photography and styling. Private or corporate catering includes fine dining, buffets, spit braais, braais, breakfast and brunch boards, tacos boards, cheese boards, pizza bars, picnic boxes, charcuterie cones and lots more!
