Growing up in Lephepane, Modiba often walked long distances barefoot. This formative experience planted the seed for what would later become Mitchwear. After earning diplomas in Computer Studies and Secretariat, he gained over 15 years of experience in the SETA industry, eventually founding K Boneng Skills Academy, which offers training in various trades across two campuses in Tzaneen.
Modiba’s entrepreneurial spirit also led him to co-found Digni Financial Services with actor Thabiso Cornet Mamabolo. But it was his passion for footwear and community upliftment that culminated in the creation of Mitchwear.
