Take your hustle to the next level and WIN R10 000 worth of Material or equipment towards your business by simply reply with a short 30 seconds video explaining your side hustle, what you need help with and why you deserve to win. Make sure to use the #BARONEPullUp and 4 winners will be announced on 6 Nov 2020.

  1. Introduction
    • 1.1. Participation in this Competition is governed by these terms and conditions (the Rules).
    • 1.2. Participants are encouraged to review the Rules before entering into the Competition and acknowledge that they have been given an appropriate opportunity to do so and that they understand and accept these Rules.
    • 1.3. This competition is operated by Nestlé (South Africa) (Proprietary) Limited (“Nestlé”) in conjunction with Hoorah Digital (Pty) Ltd (collectively the “Promoters”).
    • 1.4. Participation in the Competition constitutes acceptance of these Rules and Participants agree to abide by these Rules.
  2. By participating in this Competition, Participants agree to the rules set out below. 
    This Competition is limited to legal residents and/or legal citizens of the Republic of South Africa who are running businesses in South Africa. In addition, the following people shall not be eligible to participate in this Competition:
    • 2.1. Directors, members, partners, promotional and advertising agents, merchandisers, employees or consultants of the Promoters.
    • 2.2. People who are not legal residents and/or legal citizens of the Republic of South Africa.
    • 2.3. Spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of any of the persons specified above.
    • 2.4. Persons under the age of 18 years.
       
  3. The Competition shall commence on 1st October 2020 and will end on 26th October 2020. No entries received after 26th October 2020 at 23:59:59PM will be considered.
     
  4. Mechanics
    • 4.1. To participate in this Competition, Participants must adhere to the following:
      • 4.1.1. Find the relevant post on the BarOne South Africa Twitter page and comment on the post by uploading a short 30 second video of their start-up hustle and include the following hashtag: #BarOnePullUp.
      • 4.1.2. The video to be uploaded by each Participant should include the following details: what their business is about, what they need help with in terms of equipment or material they would require to help further their business, as well as why they believe they deserve to win.
    • 4.2. Participants may enter the competition as many times as they wish over the Competition period, provided that they adhere to the competition mechanics each time. Entry is also subject to the following conditions:
      • 4.2.1. Fully adhere to the competition mechanics;
      • 4.2.2. Only enter the competition using the correct specified social media platform (Twitter);
      • 4.2.3. Have an existing operational business and be able to provide evidence of the existence of the business as detailed in 4.2.4 below; OR be able to provide proof of the existence of the business through the social media presence of the business (i.e. on a social media platform such as Telegram, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp etc.);
      • 4.2.4. The owner of the Business should present a tax compliance Certificate or Business Account (Proof of Account) or 6 months Business banking statement or copy of company registration for CIPC (If registered).
    • 4.3. Winners will be determined by a random draw that will take place on 2 November 2020, and winners will be announced 6 November 2020 on Twitter.
  5. The Prize
    • 5.1. Valid entries from eligible Participants stand to win equipment or material worth R10 000 (ten thousand Rand) per winner. There will be 4 winners in total.
    • 5.2. The Promoters are not responsible for any risk and / or damages that may occur once any of the prizes are handed over to the winner(s).
    • 5.3. Prizes will be delivered to the 4 winners in the week of 30 November 2020.
  6. How to claim your prize: 
    • 6.1. If the Promoters are unable to reach any of the potential prize winners after 3 (three) attempts made within 3 (three) working days of their name being drawn, for whatsoever reason, including incorrect telephone numbers or inoperative telephone numbers, such winner will be disqualified and a runner up finalist will be deemed the potential prize winner subject to the terms and conditions herein.
    • 6.2. Eligible winners may be asked to complete an indemnity form for the protection of both the winner/s, Hoorah Digital and Nestlé. Failure to complete the form would result in a participant forfeiting the prize.
    • 6.3. The choice of service providers and vendors for the purposes of procuring the prizes is at the sole discretion of Promoters.
    • 6.4. The prizes will be sourced and delivered by Hoorah Digital.
    • 6.5. The prize is not transferable, and no substitution or cash redemption of prizes is permitted. The prize will not be handed/awarded to a third party, but only to the verified prize winner.
    • 6.6. The Promoters reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to substitute the prize with any other prize of comparable or greater commercial value for whatever reason.
