Mentor Applications Open For Microsoft / Andela Gauteng Province Azure Training Program

Gauteng Azure Training Program, Volunteer Sign-up FormMicrosoft and Andela are launching a Gauteng Province Azure Training Program to support 3,000 software enthusiasts in Gauteng on Microsoft Azure courses. The aim of this program is to continuously engage with aspiring and existing developers to become professional developers with industry demand life skills that can get them opportunities post-program.

We believe in the power of working as a community. We’re looking for volunteers that will join us in supporting this generation of Developers in Gauteng, South Africa.

In order to efficiently train these learners, we are recruiting volunteer trainers who will help with supporting the learners on their journey.

How can you volunteer?

Volunteer Trainers will:

?? UNDERGO A TRAIN THE TRAINER PROGRAM
A series of workshop training sessions led by industry experts to properly equip Azure trainers to support learners in the program.

?? GAIN THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET CERTIFIED IN AZURE FUNDAMENTALS PATH
Gain new skills, get access to a new resource in Microsoft Azure, network with other volunteer trainers. Completing the trainer program gives you an opportunity to seat for AZ-900 exams for free.

?? COMMUNITY TRAINER
Guides and supports a team of learners in the program.

You should have a good understanding of Microsoft Azure, or an equivalent cloud technology, have excellent facilitation skills and be a great team player.
