Gallo Record Company

Black Coffee’s FlightMode Digital concluded a deal acquiring a signficant stake in Gallo Music Investments (GMI), from Lebashe Investment Group for an undisclosed amount in May 2020. Gallo Record Company has been in business for more than 90 years and is focused on the acquisition of music rights, representing artists, recording, manufacturing, digital and physical distribution, and the sale of pre-recorded music and video in SA and internationally. As an established and iconic music label, it boasts a stable that includes some of the biggest artists to come out of South Africa.

Zone 6

Black Coffee became the owner of Zone 6 in June 2017. The venue has hosted the likes of AKA, Kwesta and Cassper Nyovest, as well as events such as The Supa Mega Show, Black Coffee’s BET celebration, Authentic Sundays and MTV Base music concerts. The venue has a holding capacity of 4 000.
