Artist manager and reality star Ayanda Ncwane is known to always look radiant in her designer dresses on the drama-infused reality show Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD). The businesswoman, who is the widow of gospel musician S’fiso Ncwane has been in the spotlight after her late husband’s passing as she had to take care of S’fiso’s estate. She matriculated at Nombika High School, Endwedwe. While in school, she did drama, trained to sing opera, farmed, and was also a girl scout. Before S’fiso Ncwane’s passing, Ayanda was working as the CEO of Ncwane Communications as the company was owned by S’fiso Ncwane. After his death Ayanda Ncwane inherited most of S’fiso’s assets such as properties and businesses, which included Ncwane Communications. While she was operating as the company’s CEO, the company was the best selling in both gospel and secular in South Africa and beyond. She also won an international award in London for International Outstanding Music Promoter and Brand Manager.
Annual Gospel All Stars
For all her strides in business and philanthropy, Ayanda Ncwane remains something of an enigma. She is also the brains behind the Annual Gospel All Stars, a popular crossover gospel festival held on 31 December in Durban, she’s endorsed by the eThekwini Municipality to organise the popular event.
Ayanda Ncwane Women’s Carnival
In what is a first for her home town, Ndwedwe in Natal, Ayanda is forging ahead with one of her brilliant community-building ideas, Ayanda Ncwane Women’s Carnival. According to the press release, the Women’s Carnival will allow the women of the community in Durban to voice their concerns and exhibit their businesses. The company is solely focussed on providing an avenue for dialogue among businesswomen in Durban so that they can have better business strategies and solutions.
