Businesses Owned By Nasty C. Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo known professionally as Nasty C is a South African rapper, songwriter and record producer. After releasing two mixtapes and two EPs, Ngcobo released his critically acclaimed debut album Bad Hair in 2016 and his sophomore album Strings and Bling in 2018. He was the youngest recipient of an award at the 2015 South African Hip Hop Awards, namely the Best Freshman Award. In March 2020, Nasty C signed a joint venture deal with Def Jam Records and released his third album on 28 August 2020 and his first on the label titled Zulu Man With Some Power.

Tall Racks Records

On 20 August 2018, Ngcobo established his own record label, Tall Racks Records. His long-term associated singer Rowlene was the first act to sign under the label, alongside himself. Red Bull Music and Tall Racks Records gave 11 up and coming artists a chance to go into the Red Bull Music Recording Studios in Cape Town to record their songs with the Tall Racks Records artists as part of the Lift As You Rise project. Made up of unstoppable forces such as Nasty C, Tellaman, Gemini Major, Rowlene, Lastee and Zino D, the Lift As You Rise project saw these artists come together to produce multiple open tracks.

This is an online store that was founded by Nasty C, with the purpose of selling his own clothing brand such as the Gold Collection clothing line that was created to support the release of his third studio album titled ‘Zulu Man With Some Power’. The collection catalogue consists of clothing items such as Hoodies and T-Shirts, which have the title of the album and the track list printed on them in gold.

Ivyson Tour

The Ivyson tour was initially founded in Cape Town, 2017. The Mother City was Nasty C’s mother’s home town and the ideal city to launch his first and only personal tour. To date, it has since been hosted in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg and Namibia attracting over 16 000 attendees across the shows. To promote the tour, the young emcee launched a school tour, where he was visiting local Johannesburg schools including Curro: Krugersdorp, Kingsmead College and Parktown Girls.
