South African actress, TV personality and Radio DJ Thando Thabethe took to Instagram to give thanks and highlight the businesses that helped her create a beautiful store that she has been dreaming of owning.
The post read, “So proud of @thabootys store… to think it all started in my garage 3 years ago & to see it now stand soooo beautifully…if you haven’t visited yet, allow me to take you on a quick tour and plug you on some of the incredible suppliers that made this store sooo gorgeous. 1. The Point of Sale Upholstery was hand made by @leeuwfurniture 2. The gorgeous herringbone floor was sourced and specifically modified for the store by the incredible @msquaredprojectsanddesign 3. A moment for the amazing wallpaper, both the marble and life size pic done so elegantly by @canvas_and_wall_south_africa 5. My go to when it comes to curtains!!! And best in the business @galaxyblindsjhb created these custom change room curtains for me. 6. All my DIY and lighting needs were met by my amazing friends @leroymerlinsa”

She is Nivea’s first brand ambassador in Africa. In 2019, Thando was named one of Forbes Africa’s 30 Under 30. She is also the host of 947 Drive With Thando.
Thabethe started her television talk show Thando Bares All, on TLC with the first episode being aired on 2 June 2018. In 2018, she later starred in the thriller, drama series Housekeepers as Linda Ndlovu. She maintained her role in the season 2 of the series in 2019. In 2019, she starred in the lead role of Zinhle Malinga in the box office hit Love Lives Here.
