Township Entrepreneurs Alliance (TEA) Announces Its Hybrid Business Workshop. Township Entrepreneurs Alliance (TEA) took to Twitter to announce its hybrid business workshop that is aimed to assist entrepreneurs in rebuilding their businesses during the pandemic and looting.

Township Entrepreneurs Alliance better known as TEA is an organisation that was established in 2015 and has a focus in empowering township based companies and entrepreneurs with knowledge sharing, skills development, enterprise development and access to market. Township Entrepreneurs Alliance was started out of a need to advocate for entrepreneurship and a possible career choice through its high school engagements and empower existing and aspiring entrepreneurs with skills require to operate and grow an business sustainably through is monthly free workshops hosted in various townships across the country.

Township Entrepreneurs Alliance has directly impacted over 6500+ entrepreneurs and 20 000+ township high school students. It’s dream is to develop hubs of economic development that will aid the youth in townships and rural areas in South Africa. The organisation is driven by the passion and creativity it sees and experiences in the different entrepreneurs it engages. It also believes that the African story is yet to be told and entrepreneurship acts as a great platform for execute on this.

TEA aims to empower township entrepreneurs with skills, entreprise development & access to market opportunities in South Africa and the SADC. It runs the #TEA event once bi-monthly on a Saturday from 9am – 1pm, where the participants will be required to wear formal business attire or smart casual because it believes that presentation is key and they will be armed with a business card and an attitude of growth.
