Lookout Ceramics Founder Lookout Sibanda Explains How The Uniqueness Of His Business Is Uplifting People Around Him. Having a business that is unique can bring a lot of benefits in the marketplace as people would be able to easily distinguish between it and it competitors. This can also present an opportunity for the company to impact the lives of the people around the business differently as they would be offering something that they haven’t yet experienced or seen.

In an interview with The Insider SA, Lookout Sibanda the founder of Lookout Ceramics explained how the uniqueness of his business is uplifting and empowering people around him. He said, “Beauty means a lot of things but to me it means ceramics, colour and texture, colour that draws you to the piece. My style of ceramics is, I would refer to it as unique, I use both white clay and black clay and I put more texture and colour. At the moment I prefer using black clay… it actually works well for me because it shows more of the colours that I want to use and the texture I prefer using.”

“…I actually think that ceramics is therapeutic, I would advice someone who wants to clear their mind to actually do ceramics…you can actually do classes where you can just play with clay and do nothing and that is actually therapeutic.” Sibanda continued.

Sibanda believes that ceramics can actually help people to clear their minds as they host classes that people can attend and play with clay as he believes this clears the mind. He also believes that his business focusing in African designs and textures on his ceramics he is showing the world and fellow Africans that Africans have the most unique designs that can influence the world. He also hopes to build his business to be big enough so that he can employ more people on a permanent basis.
