Rapper Youngsta CPT Explains How His Merchandise Deal With Netflix Came About. In an interview with Ke Busy Dot Com, South African Rapper Youngsta CPT explained how his merchandise deal with Netflix’s Blood and Water came about.

The rapper said, “I was asked initially to just be a part of the Blood and Water series in terms of the music side of things as well as the small acting role and when we had the first meeting they came to visits us at our store and then they obviously saw the little operation that we are running there. There were like wow this is so dope, do you guys maybe want to partner with us in terms of making a limited edition capsule of the Blood and Water season 2 and that was a no brainer for us and also I have a dope team, I have guys around me that are always pushing me creatively and pushing me as a businessman as well.”

He continued to say, “The ideas flow naturally and Netflix has never done something like this before so that was the first time they have ever collaborated with a local artist in terms of merchandise and I think that we are setting a lot of trends and records as well.” Youngsta shared that his deal with Netflix’s Blood and Water is something that happened because Netflix already saw the work that his company has been putting in and therefore it trusted his company to be capable of pulling off a deal of this magnitude.

It is always best when entrepreneurs work on their brand and build it to a point where big corporations come looking for them as this will create a much better negotiation. The rapper also shared that this deal is the first of its kind and he hopes to inspire a lot of people to see their dreams as valid, he also wants people to see this deal and for them to dream bigger and come up with better ideas, this way the industry would be growing and more creatives will be getting the recognition that they don’t usually get.
