SA Entrepreneur Tebogo Mokwena Reveals One Of The Key Things She Learnt Recently As A CEO. South African entrepreneur and co-founder of Akiba Digital Tebogo Mokwena took to Twitter to share one of the key things she has learnt recently as a CEO.
The post read, “One of the key things I’ve learned recently as a CEO is; I have to invest in systems and processes that enable ordinary people to perform in extraordinary ways. Ultimately scaling talent with business growth. It is impractical to assume talent alone will enable crazy scale.” Mokwena understands that in order to keep being innovative one has to keep an open mind to new information as this will keep their businesses functioning at an optimum level.
She highlighted that a in order for a business to scale properly it has to invest in the systems and operations that it does and the people that perform tasks so that they can improve and therefore increase productivity. She notes that helping ordinary people to perform in extraordinary ways will bring a lot of growth not only for the business but for the individuals as well as they will be advancing their skills in whatever field they are in.
Ootimising processes and operations gives the business an edge to perform better than its competitors as it will be more efficient and effective. She also reiterates that these things should not be done alone but should be combined so that growth can be achieved. Mokwena is entrepreneur and a technology enthusiast passionate about solving African problems.
