Ekasi Fibre Launches Its Fibre Services In Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal. South African fibre startup, eKasi Fibre has expanded its fibre services to reach Umlazi in KwaZulu-Natal. The company took to LinkedIn to make this announcement.
It said, “eKasi Fibre is live in Umlazi AA & BB! We hope to continually grow our network to provide affordable fibre internet to South Africa’s previously disadvantaged communities.” The company believes that it is the leading affordable, uninterrupted and uncapped fibre provider in South Africa- bringing the world to its client’s community and taking their community to the world, eKasi Fibre is committed to ensuring it brings an affordable and uninterrupted fibre service.
It is its dream to provide affordable, high speed, fibre internet to the next one million within Southern Africa. The company has been hard at work, having learnt from the failures of others in the industry, setting up strategic relationships and engaging with local government and municipalities to bring this dream to life. It believes that it is this engagement and interaction at grass roots level that gives it an advantage in garnering support and buy in from the communities that it provided services to.
It is through this support that it hopes eKasi Fibre will become a ubiquitous name in the communities that it serves throughout Southern Africa. “We offer prepaid fibre internet in daily, weekly, monthly, two monthly and three monthly packages. We also offer speeds of 10, 25 and 50Mbps,” director at eKasi Fibre, Brad Lowman, told MyBroadband. “Our offering is uncapped and sold in windows of time rather than amounts of data. Our prices are not only competitive but also offer our target market a lot of flexibility.”
“eKasi Fibre recognises that a network installed today needs to last and not only provide connectivity services to suit the needs of today’s customers but also next-generation services,” Lowman added.
