SA Entrepreneur Tshepiso Malema Reflects On The Growth Of His Gaming Start-Up. South African entrepreneur and founder of Gamer’s Territory Tshepiso Malema took to Twitter to reflect on the growth of the gaming startup as it has only been 4 years since the business started.
The post read, “Its was in 2018 when I started @GamersTerrit0ry with only 2 laptops and my moms old TV. Fast forward today we are running in 2 facilities, Ivory Park and Alexandra. Join us on the 5th of March, this coming Saturday as we’ll be launching our Ivory Park Facility.” Gamers Territory provides an electrifying experience and a never-before real gaming experience. The startup entertains customers with the best gaming experience and a facility which cannot be recreated at home. It offers wide-range of gaming from PC to handheld consoles such as Plays station, X-Box and also Virtual Reality.
Gamer’s Territory’s aim is to bridge the gap of computer literacy in the townships by providing Coding classes, Typing classes, Exposure to Virtual Reality and Robotics classes. Through this startup Malema seeks to show that there are opportunities for young people to venture into the tech industry and for them to achieve their success in it. Malema also shows that he is putting in the work to achieve the success he wants as he is already running two facilities of the startup.
The company was founded by Tshepiso Malema who is a multifaceted young man from the of Ivory Park. He is currently doing his first-year studies at the University of Pretoria studying BIT Information Systems. At only 19 years old, he is an entrepreneur, blogger, and a speaker. He is passionate about making change and serving others which led him to starting his initiative called the Tshepiso Malema Speaks Initiative, which serves as a vessel to help young people to discover their purposes.
