Management Consultancy BeyondSoil Seeks To Offer Comprehensive Agricultural Business Support Services

Management Consultancy BeyondSoil Seeks To Offer Comprehensive Agricultural Business Support Services. BeyondSoil is a unique management consultancy and patient investor committed to the growth of Agri-SMEs. The company offers management consulting services, hands on business support and direct investment. It believes in harnessing the power of the farm-to-fork value chain to build wealth in South Africa.

The company was founded by Zaheer Dindar and Jerome van Innis in 2019, having worked across Africa, Asia, Europe and Middle-East for over 10 organisations, Innis has extensive managerial and consulting experience spanning across strategy, operations, marketing and sales, and impact investing in the agribusiness and consumer goods industries. The team has strong credentials and an extensive network in agricultural consumer goods, investment, and strategy consulting. With 25+ years’ experience having helped several international organisations navigate challenges along their business lifecycle – it has developed the components of the BeyondSoil model to grow SMEs in the Agri and Food sectors.

A more diverse and sustainable food value chain is required as global population is set to reach 8.5 billion by 2030. South Africa is ideally placed to become a global agricultural and food powerhouse – with the potential to serve both the sophisticated markets of Europe and North America and the emerging markets of Africa and Asia. BeyondSoil aims to grow the next generation of Agri and Food Entrepreneurs into global champions.

South Africa’s SMEs form the backbone of the economy and have tremendous potential to unlock growth, particularly in agriculture and food. Yet less than 15% are formally funded. Many lack critical skills and the capacity to scale. BeyondSoil is building a ‘growth ecosystem’ to finance and scale Agri and Food SMEs into large commercial farms, agribusinesses, and service providers across the farm-to-fork value chain.
