As a customer in Pretoria, I was able to enjoy the professionalism of the brand. They are not only quick; they get it right every time! I saw the gap in the Cape Town market for this exclusive waxing service and had to be the first one to open a store here,” she says.

As the first of its kind in the Western Cape, Anthea was faced with the hard decision of determining the perfect location for the first ever WAXIT wax bar. 

“When we consider possible locations for the brand, we take into account the demographic (the size of the area, ages and market) we would want to attract. The Blouberg and surrounds was the perfect spot for a smooth launch. We know that parts of the country are semi-grating to Cape Town with Melkbos and Blouberg being the up-and-coming areas to relocate to, we wanted to get into this area before the boom. It was important to me that I was considered as part of the community by my clientele. That we could chat about local happenings and such. That we shared the common purpose of adding value to the area,” she says.
