Edgars Announces Its Partnership With Pargo. South African retail store Edgars, which was recently acquired by Retailability Group has announced its partnership with Pargo in order to expand its delivery services.
Retailability Group took to LinkedIn make this announcement, the post read, “Our Edgars stores are expanding their delivery services by collaborating with last-mile logistics company Pargo for nationwide Click & Collect. Click & Collect also offers customers living in difficult-to-reach areas, rural areas and informal settlements access to the wide range of Edgars brands and products, giving them the opportunity to shop online without the worry that they’ll either miss a delivery or not even qualify for delivery at all. Additionally, we are adding over 100 of our own Edgars stores to the growing network of over 3,000 Pargo Pickup Points – effectively making this the largest pickup point network in South Africa.”
Pargo is a convenient logistics solution that allows customers to order their shopping online and have it delivered to so-called Pargo points which it has established at over 1200 stores throughout the country. This delivery method, better known as click-and-collect, allows customers to order their goods online and collect at the customer’s preferred local store at a time that suits them best.
