How BrightSparkz Tutors Aims To Fill The Need For Extra-curricular Academic Support For Learners And Parents

How BrightSparkz Tutors Aims To Fill The Need For Extra-curricular Academic Support For Learners And Parents. BrightSparkz Tutors was birthed in 2007, establishing itself as the earliest formal tutoring company in Cape Town, shortly thereafter expanding into Johannesburg and Pretoria, and later into Port Elizabeth and Durban.

A desperate need for an extra-curricular academic support system for learners and parents was identified, and the company prides itself in making sure its clients continue to experience only top-quality tutors, and an efficient, personalized tutor-matching and learning support service, more than 10 years later. In addition to personalized tutoring, the company has also developed a range of academic support services. These include readers, scribes and other concessions facilitators for exams; specialized language courses (Afrikaans, Zulu and French Boot Camp programs) for school learners and adults; a unique Study Skills Crash Course that aims to improve study skills and organizational techniques; a Grade R readiness program (Little Sparkz); and online tutoring for its clients outside of the company’s main tutoring regions.

Every day, BrightSparkz Tutors connects parents and learners to exceptional tutors, for an individually tailored learning support experience. The company’s aim is that through one-on-one attention and tailored tutoring sessions based around individual needs, that each learner will have the opportunity to boost their confidence and interest in the subject, change their attitude towards school and studying, ultimately improving their results.

As part of its 10th anniversary, BrightSparkz Tutors has also launched “Project 10 000” – a project aiming to see 10 000 tutoring hours dedicated to helping learners and students, who would not otherwise have the opportunity or means to benefit from tutoring, succeed in their academic journey.
