WorkPay Secures $2.7m In Funding To Expand Across Africa. HR company WorkPay is excited to announce that it has successfully closed a $2.7M Pre-Series A funding round to continue expanding its HR, Payroll, Compliance, and Benefits solutions across Africa.

The company’s founder Paul Kimani said in a LinkedIn, “We are delighted to announce that we have secured $2.7M in funding to support the expansion of our HR, Payroll, and Benefits solution throughout Africa. We are thrilled to welcome some exciting new partners onboard, including Launch Africa Ventures, Saviu Ventures, Acadian Ventures, PROPARCO, Fondation Botnar, Kara Ventures, and Axian Group Norrsken🚀We have some exciting new products in the pipeline, so stay tuned in the coming weeks for more information.”

The funding will enable Workpay to improve its existing products and services, introduce new product lines, as well as expand into new markets across the continent. Workpay is an end-to-end HR and payroll system offering time tracking, payroll management, Remote Teams Payroll (EOR), insurance, and payouts to banks and mobile money in Africa.
