Musicians can make use of their following to get endorsements from brands, and with the lock down restrictions prohibiting large crowd events, musicians have had to rely on their means of income besides live shows to survive. Securing partnerships with brand not only helps a musician with income but it also elevate their brand status as they are associated with a credible brand.

Sho Madjozi like many South African artists have taken advantage of having a big following as they partner with certain brands, this is a smart business move even for the long term as it creates long lasting working relationships with big corporations.
