The Hollywood Foundation Launches Bambelela Business Awards For Limpopo Entrepreneurs
The Hollywood Foundation Launches Bambelela Business Awards For Limpopo Entrepreneurs. The Hollywood Foundation, a dedicated advocate for community development and empowerment, is thrilled to announce the return of the Bambelela Business Awards, an initiative under its Enterprise and Supplier Development programme. These prestigious awards are designed to celebrate local heroes and heroines who are making a positive impact within their communities while contributing to job creation.
The Bambelela Business Awards, guided by its powerful slogan, “Bambelela (Hold On) – Your dreams are valid,” aims to shine a spotlight on the remarkable achievements of entrepreneurs in Limpopo. This recognition is not just about accolades; it is about providing tangible support to these visionaries on their entrepreneurial journey.
To showcase their outstanding work, small businesses are invited to participate in the SMME exhibition and seminar, where a panel of esteemed judges will identify businesses that deserve recognition. Winners will not only receive prestigious awards but also a share of R750,000 in funding generously provided by the Hollywood Foundation.
With the significant challenges posed by various economic uncertainties, which have affected businesses across South Africa and the world, the Hollywood Foundation remains committed to acknowledging and celebrating businesses that continue to make innovative and positive contributions to their industries. “We believe in the resilience and potential of South African entrepreneurs, and these awards are our way of recognizing their extraordinary efforts,” said Babongile Mkhize, Group Transformation Manager for the Hollywood Foundation.
Entries for the Bambelela Business Awards are officially open as of 1st November 2023. Qualifying companies are strongly encouraged to submit their entries online by visiting the Hollywood Foundation’s application form before the deadline on 15th December 2023, at 23h59.
