SA Entrepreneur Theo Baloyi Launches Avenue Exchange’s First Store. South African Entrepreneur Theo Baloyi took to Instagram to announe that he has launched the first store of Avenue Exchange, a cosmetic boutique store that is the sister company to Bathu.

The post read, “Another childhood dream fulfilled. I used to sell perfumes door to door in the streets of Alex and today we own a cosmetic boutique store . Today our sister company @avenue_exchange.za successfully opened its first store.” With the success of Bathu, Baloyi has made sure to diversify his business portfolio as he has recently launched a new cosmetics business called Avenue Exchange, he is planning to build a business that is as sustainable as Bathu and he has already taken the steps to make sure it does by opening a physical store.

The post continued to say, “I appreciate what the streets of Alex taught me, I sold perfumes from 1st AVENUE to 22nd AVENUE & Beyond. This experience equipped me with great values such as the exchange of Kindness, Humility & Respect. To me every sale was beyond a transaction , it was an EXCHANGE : – An Exchange of Energy – An Exchange of Ambition – An Exchange of Vision – An Exchange of Dreams A big thank you to our forever hardworking team , esteemed clients and talent for making this possible.”

Baloyi shows that he has always been an entrepreneur and that one of his dreams was to create a cosmetics business, today he has not only fulfilled his dream but he also get to empower a lot of people through the impact of his journey. By opening other business ventures he is continuing to build his legacy as an entrepreneur while also inspiring others to do the same.
