SA Entrepreneurs On The Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 2024. The 10th anniversary of FORBES AFRICA’s 30 Under 30 list is testament to the unmistakable potential and talent pool that exists on a continent boasting the world’s youngest population, and their role in together crafting Africa’s growth story. This year’s list consisted of several South Africans who are leaders in their respective fields, below are the entrepreneurs that managed to make the cut.

Ann-Kathrin Joos, CEO and Founder of Standard Beauty

Ann-Kathrin Joos founded Standard Beauty from the lack of high quality beauty products in South Africa. She started Standard Beauty in the midst of the pandemic in June 2020 when her first business hadn’t really taken off. She noticed that there was a gap in the affordable skincare market, as most skincare items are very expensive.

Daniel Novitzkas, Co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Specno

Daniel Novitzkas is the co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Specno, he is a serial entrepreneur on a mission to build the worlds greatest innovation agency and teach its frameworks to over a million entrepreneurs by 2030.

Luke Mostert, Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer, CatalyzU

Luke Mostert is a former South African Venture Capitalist, now turned tech entrepreneur. After completing the first cohort of Accelerate Africa, Luke pivoted into entrepreneurship full-time, co-founding CatalyzU, an African talent-tech startup at the intersection of learning and job placement. A month after CatalyzU exited stealth, the nascent startup was accepted into Techstars Toronto as part of their 2023 batch.

Cayley Jorgensen, CEO and Founder of Ingage Support

Cayley Jorgensen is the founder of Ingage Support, she combines her passion for public speaking, mental health and social media to help all South Africans, one small step at a time. Her main focus is creating awareness for mental health and educating parents, teachers, and learners on the mental health pressures of today’s world, as well as resources and techniques to understand and cope better.

Ricardo Lognath, Co-Founder and CEO of Omninela Medical

He is the co-founder of Omninela Medical, a proudly South African health tech start-up, and Health Online Store, Omninela.co.za. The company believes that you should be living without an inability and embraces technology to assist us to live longer and healthier.

Nicolas Lognath, Co-Founder and Director of Omninela Medical

Nicolas Lognath co-founded Omninela alongside his brother Ricardo. The company seeks to make sure that its community has access to shop online for over 10 000 innovative Health, Beauty and Pet Care products, it also aims to be the leading Online Health destination in South Africa

Esethu Cenga, Co-founder and CEO, Rewoven

Esethu Cenga is extremely passionate about sustainability and development, particularly in the context of Africa. She fundamentally believes that the human specie cannot ensure its survival and development without adopting sustainable practises that account for not just profit, but also for people, planet and general wellbeing. From this understanding, she has been driven to create a meaningful impact through co-founding Rewoven – a start-up a textile recycling start-up that aims to divert fashion waste from landfill whilst creating much needed jobs.
