Minister Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams Launches Africa’s Got Game Incubation. The Department of Small Business Development and Africa’s Got Game have launched a small business incubator and digital hub in Mitchell’s Plain in the Western Cape.
Minister for Small Business Development, Ms Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams, will officially launched the Africa’s Got Game Incubation and Digital Hub on Wednesday, 17 July 2024 in Mitchells Plain, Western Cape. The hub is now fully equipped and set to provide services and programmes to township-based enterprises and cooperatives of Mitchells Plain.
Minister Ndabeni- Abrahams was accompanied by DSBD Director General (Acting) Thulisile Manzini, Seda CEO Ntokozo Majola and Acting sefa CEO Nkosikhona Mbatha in officiating the opening of the first ever incubator in Mitchell’s Plain on the periphery of Cape Town.
Africa’s Got Game Incubation and Digital Hub offers a hybrid approach to all qualifying enterprises, generating innovative solutions across various industries. It provides youth entrepreneurs with skills development training that prepares them for future business and work opportunities. It also offers technical development services to qualifying entrepreneurs and small businesses.
This intervention seeks to enhance sustainability of enterprises and to mitigate the risk of failure in the early stages of start-ups. It prioritises the development of vibrant township economies and localizations in surrounding communities. The Incubator will offer the first of its kind hybrid facilities for all aspiring entrepreneurs & is equipped to provide up to date modern equipment.
The launch is a significant event for Africa’s Got Game Incubation and Digital Hub and its stakeholders. This is a culmination of the hard work and effort of different teams to deliver on the mandate of the Incubator.
