By August 2024, Charlotte’s persistence was rewarded when she joined Borgart South Africa’s “Pass the Hat” campaign and secured R25 000 in funding. This injection of capital allowed her to purchase vital catering equipment such as warmers, tables, and utensils, helping her expand operations and take on bigger events.
