Learning Curve becomes Canva’s first local African reseller

Learning Curve becomes Canva’s first local African reseller. Learning Curve has been appointed as Canva’s first locally based Canva Partner in Africa, giving organisations across the continent access to the visual communication platform alongside local implementation, training and support.
The partnership will enable Learning Curve to support organisations using Canva Business, Canva Enterprise and Canva Campus across Africa.
Learning Curve CEO Glen Lumley said organisations face growing challenges in selecting technology and ensuring employees have the skills and support needed to use new platforms effectively.
“The real value comes from selecting the right solution for the problem, integrating it into the way people work and giving teams the confidence and skills to use it properly,” Lumley said.
Canva Business brings content creation, collaboration and brand management together for growing organisations, while Canva Enterprise provides larger organisations with security, administration, governance and brand controls.
Canva Campus is designed for higher education institutions and supports areas including teaching and learning, research communication, marketing, student engagement, employability and entrepreneurship.
Learning Curve said the partnership comes as organisations increasingly rely on employees across departments to produce presentations, proposals, reports, training materials, internal communications, video and social content.
Lumley said this shift could create opportunities for faster communication while also presenting challenges around duplicated work, inconsistent branding and fragmented processes when technology, skills and workflows are not aligned.
He added that the adoption of artificial intelligence tools was adding another consideration for organisations, increasing the importance of implementation, training and governance.
Learning Curve will assist customers with identifying applications for Canva, implementation, training and adoption across departments.
Canva Africa Lead Bianca Sibiya said local support could help organisations use the platform with confidence and encourage adoption.
“Access to Canva is only the first step. The real value comes from helping teams use it with confidence and supporting adoption across the organisation,” Sibiya said.
