KiD X and Revolution Media Academy are the sponsors of this scholarship and will cover the full 1-year tuition fees for RMA full-time Sound Technology, Film and Television Production, Radio Production, Studio Work or Composition at the state-of-the-art campus in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.

The people who are eligible to apply for the bursary are people with Grade 12 with a Diploma or Bachelors endorsement and a passion for Music or Media Studies. They should create a short video motivating why they need this Bursary. They should also complete an online application, they must be available to study full time in 2022 and must be a South African citizen. The main criteria used in the selection of successful applicants are financial need and academic potential. Preference is also given to applicants from rural areas and to female applicants.

With this partnership KiD X wants to assist students that have a passion for the media industry but they do not have the means to afford the tuition fees. This collaboration is set to empower and uplift a lot of students as they will be able to pursue their passions.
