GrindstoneXL Joins Forces With Enterprise Singapore To Facilitate The Global Innovation Alliance Cape Town Acceleration Programme. GrindstoneXL has joined forces with Enterprise Singapore to facilitate the Global Innovation Alliance (#GIA) Cape Town Acceleration Programme. This programme will act as a bridge to the South African market, boost potential funding and investment, and bring a wealth of knowledge. As home to well-known tech giants, such as Amazon and Woolworths, Cape Town is a hub of innovative start-ups ready to burst onto the scene.

As one of many future geographical collaborations, Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG) joined forces with Grindstone to offer the Global Innovation Alliance (GIA) Cape Town Acceleration Programme, providing ten innovation-driven Singaporean startups an opportunity to grow and expand their business into the South Africa market. Entrepreneurs and startups with proven traction in the technology sector, especially in fintech, agritech, cyber security, ESG and infrastructure, are encouraged to apply.

Grindstone is a structured entrepreneurship development programme that assists high-growth innovation-driven companies to get the fundamental building blocks in place to scale quickly and become sustainable and fundable. Every year a limited number of scale-up entrepreneurs participate in our highly successful GrindstoneXL programme, where participants are taken through a nine-month duration of intense learning, scaling and growth by looking at everything required to become highly fundable. The company takes a deconstructed due diligence approach and cover topics from value proposition to delivery methods to pricing, customer acquisition and retention, IP, people management and financial and governance processes.

GIA is an initiative of the Singapore government, led by EnterpriseSG. It is a network of Singapore and overseas partners in major innovation hubs and key demand markets, with a focus on technology and innovation. It is a joint initiative between EnterpriseSG and the Singapore Economic Development Board.
