Kids Innovate Africa Aims To Drive Diversity & Inclusion In Access To Quality Stem Education. Kids Innovate Africa (KIA) is an edtech organization established in 2015 in Cape Town, South Africa. The company offers an introduction to Computer Science and Engineering fields through Animation, Game Development, Robotics and Coding for 5 – 18-year-olds.

The company’s objectives are:​ to show school pupils that Mathematics and Science are pretty awesome and that pursuing STEM subjects will give them a better future and more career options anywhere in the world; to use technology to nurture the development of valuable life skills: self-determination, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

The EdTech consists of an experienced team of instructors who enjoy working with young people and creating an inclusive learning environment. They are passionate about Science, Engineering, and Technology! The company prides itself on being professional, punctual, open communicators, and authentic. It advocates these values with its students.

Kids Innovate Africa’s mission is to be an ally of parents and teachers of K-12 in nurturing children to develop self-determination – key for academic performance, confidence in their abilities, teamwork necessary to create positive relationships, and critical thinking needed to solve problems. The company exists to allow children and youth opportunities to explore and find their match within the enduring fields of STEM.

The learners are central to Kids Innovate Africa’s strategy formulation and implementation. It is also inclusive of its stakeholders’ views and opinions.​ The company is agile towards change, and it believes growth and learning are synonymous, hence it is pro-active in its approach, and conducts its activities with integrity.
