Award-winning Giraf Macadamia Milk shines at the 2024 Food & Home Awards. The one and only Giraf Macadamia Milk range has made a splash at the 2024 Food&Home Awards, snagging not just one, but two accolades — silver and gold!
As a newcomer to the market Giraf Macadamia is already setting the bar high in South Africa’s growing plant-milk and beverage industry. Giraf Macadamia Original was awarded the Silver for winning runner up for Dairy Alternatives in the Vegan Category. And the Giraf Macadamia with Vanilla variant was crowned Gold for winning Best Milk in the Cold Drinks Category.

Meet the Judges
- Leading this year’s panel Bianca Muller, the editor and creative mastermind behind Food&Home magazine, is renowned for her insatiable curiosity for new dishes and local eateries.
- Thilivhali Mugwena, affectionately known as “Meals with Mash,” is a chef, content creator and Producer who captivates audiences with her mouthwatering recipes and digital storytelling.
- Jezza-Rae Larsen, a talented recipe developer and food stylist, combines her love for culinary arts with creativity, crafting dishes that are both beautiful and flavourful.
- Chef Funi (Lufuno Sinthumule), a celebrated chef and cookbook author, brings a wealth of experience to the table with a special love for baked goods.
- Shawn Godfrey, MasterChef South Africa 2022 winner and creator of “The Roasted Dad”, brought his passion for South African ingredients and cuisine to the judging panel.
- Dominique Fuchs, the food lover behind “Kosvraat”, is known for her honest reviews and delightful recipes, especially her signature sweets.
